The family farm, Youzwa Farms Inc. is located at Nipawin, Sask. In the quest for a margin they grow canola, wheat, peas, faba beans, oats and canary seed. Terry was a pedigreed seed grower for over 25 years.
Terry graduated from Agricultural Engineering at the U of S. In 2006 he completed the The Directors College program and became a Chartered Director. Terry served as a director and Sask Vice-chair for Agricore-United and United Grain Growers from 1990-2007. He has served on the Soil Conservation Council of Canada and the Flax Council of Canada. In 2009 Terry joined SaskCanola for 8 years as a Director and a past chairman. He represented growers interests at the Canola Council of Canada for 7 years where he is also a past chairman.
Terry is married to Sandee a registered nurse and they have 3 children Zak, Sasha and Jesalyn. Zak is becoming more involved in the farm's succession. The farm is passionate about stewardship and adopting practices and technology that will leave the land in a better state for the next generation.
Terry also enjoys golf and fishing.
