Cereals Canada’s role is to support the domestic cereals value chain which includes growers to end-use customers through communication, technical support, training and research projects aimed at understanding quality and functionality of Canadian wheat.
Combine to Customer
The Combine to Customer program offered by Cereals Canada is specifically for our farm member organizations. Directed at farmers, the Combine to Customer program provides a broad overview of grain industry operations. This includes sessions on wheat breeding and the key qualities of Western Canadian wheat classes that customers depend on as well as market outlook presentations and updates on Cereals Canada initiatives.
Growers nominated by their producer commission will gain valuable insight into learning about what customers are asking for when it comes to their grains linking them to end-user needs. The program also provides a forum for learning and discussion of grain industry issues.
Open to Western Canadian growers, the Combine to Customer program runs every February and March in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Please contact your provincial wheat commission to be nominated.
