Canadian Roundtable
for Sustainable Crops
The Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops (CRSC) is a national industry-led organization composed of grower associations, industry, technical and environmental members. The CRSC facilitates cross commodity collaboration on sustainable agriculture issues and opportunities facing the Canadian Grains Sector. Cereals Canada is a member of the CRSC.
Agriculture in Canada helps to slow climate change by storing carbon on agricultural lands.
Storing CO2 in soil as organic matter, as well as in perennial vegetation and in trees also reduces
levels of CO2 the atmosphere. These management practices support the next generation of farmers.
